Received a call from ASP Sydney of Dang Wangi Police Station. Apparently, he was looking for me & a few other Anti-ISA Activists / Bloggers, whom went to Pak Lah's Hari Raya Open House to meet him.
As of now, those whom will be going to see him are Amarjit Sidhu, Ashok Kandiah, Haris Ibrahim & I.
He requested our presence this coming Friday 10/10/08, 2.30pm @ the Dang Wangi Police station.
According to Ashok, it is not necessary for anyone to come to the police station in support, as ASP Sydney will just be taking a quick statement, before letting us go.
I had a quick conversation with ASP Sydney during our visit to Badawi's open house. He seemed like a nice guy - friendly, warm, matured & humorous.
Of course, I remember hearing about him in the past. Here is one incident, where I remember hearing his name.
YB Ronnie Liu, had advised us not to go, for fears that we might be framed.
After a quick chat with Ashok, the plan is still on. We will still be going. Should be OK ;-)

UPDATE (9/10/08)
4 HINDRAF members, have also been called in to give statements (next Tuesday) - written notice (under Section 111 of the Criminal Procedure Code) signed by ASP Sydney Clyde Jeremiah. They are being investigated for illegal assembly under Section 27 (5) of the Police Act, as well as trespass under Section 447 pf the Penal Code. Haris, Ashok and Sidhu are lawyers. Not sure if u r one too, but if u aren't, you might want to consider getting legal representation.
No such thing as a "simple statement" in Msia - anything u say can and will be twisted against you.
Keep answers very short . Don't volunteer any additional information.
Don't fall for any nice guy routine/friendly banter - it's a TRAP.
